چکیده

This paper addresses the problem of finding linear quadratic regulator (LQR) weights such that associated discrete-time algebraic Riccati equations admit a common optimal stabilising solution. Solving is key to designing LQR controllers stabilise switched systems under arbitrary switching, or polytopic (e.g., Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy and parameter varying systems) in entire operating region. To ensure tractability reduce searching space, this proposes an efficient framework only state based on given input weights. Linear matrix inequality conditions are derived conveniently check feasibility problem. An iterative algorithm with convergence low computational complexity developed solve Efficacy proposed method illustrated through numerical simulations various sizes.

Riccati Equations from Stochastic LQR Problem

In this paper we consider a class of matrix Riccati equations arising from stochastic LQR problems. We prove a monotonicity of solutions to the differential Riccati equations, which leads to a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions to the algebraic Riccati equations. In addition, we obtain results on comparison, uniqueness, stabilizability and approximation for soluti...

Upper-Lower Solution Method for Differential Riccati Equations from Stochastic LQR Problems

We use upper and lower solutions to study the existence and properties of solutions to differential Riccati equations arising from stochastic linear quadratic regulator (LQR) problems. The main results include an interpretation of upper and lower solutions, comparison theorems, an upper-lower solution theorem, necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of solutions, an estimation of maxi...

Solution of a Class of Riccati Equations

Abstract: In this paper, we derive the analytical closed form solution of a class of Riccati equations. Since it is well known that to every Riccati equation there corresponds a linear homogeneous ordinary differential equation (ODE), the result obtained is subsequently employed to derive the analytical solution of the class of second order linear homogeneous ODEs corresponding to the class of ...

Finding a Common Set of Weights by the Fuzzy Entropy Compared with Data Envelopment Analysis - A Case Study

A data envelopment analysis (DEA) method can be regarded as a useful management tool to evaluate decision making units (DMUs) using multiple inputs and outputs. In some cases, we face with imprecise inputs and outputs, such as fuzzy or interval data, so the efficiency of DMUs will not be exact. Most researchers have been interested in getting efficiency and ranking DMUs recently. Models of th...
